(6) Preperation I optional

The fabric is relatively stiff when it comes out of the original packaging. Therefore, warm up the underside of the new cover with a hot air blower (alternatively use a hair dryer) to make the material smooth. Move the stream of air over the surface of the material, do not heat in one place for too long! Constantly check the temperature and the material of the seat cover!

CAUTION: High temperature and heat in one place for too long can damage the material!

(6) Preperation II optional

For easier alignment, spray the seating area of the foam and the inside of the seat cover with spray adhesive and carefully place the seat cover on the seat. Place the end of the seating area on the corresponding position on the foam (arrow). The center of our seat cover is marked on the inside with a I.

Use a spray adhesive suitable for FOAM to not damage the seat foam and to ensure that you are able to correct of the position of the seat cover during the installation!

(11) Corners optional

If your seat has corners or other narrow radii to be covered, proceed as follows. Pull the seat cover over the corner and the edges and mark the contour of the edge of the seat on the inside of the seat cover. Now cut triangles into the fabric in the area of the corner, staying about 1-2cm away from the marked edge. Now you can put the individual trapezes on top of each other in the area of the corner and staple one after the other!
